Quality leadership in an agreed volume
For example a fixed number of days per month – you know in advance what you get and what it costs.
We take on the Head of Quality role in an agreed volume: the quality system, manufacturing and supplier quality, FMEA, audits, customer requirements and reporting to management. Especially suited to deeptech and technology companies moving from product development towards production and international growth.

Based on ISO 9001 or another required standard, so the system grows with the company.
Product and process FMEA, control plans and quality planning from product development to industrialisation.
Supplier selection, qualification, audits and non-conformity management.
Preparing for CE and UL compliance, validation, and mapping customer and target-market requirements.
Quality objectives and OKRs linked to strategy, and a regular overview for management.
We review the state of the product, production, suppliers and customer requirements and agree the volume and priorities.
Quick wins and the foundation: the biggest quality risks, critical processes and suppliers.
Agreed meetings, tracking of metrics and steady ongoing work.
A periodic overview for decision-makers with proposals on what to do next.
If you decide to hire for the role, we hand the work over documented and can help select the right person.
We agree the volume at the start – it might be a few days a month, or more during a production ramp-up or certification. The volume can change when the situation changes.
A project ends with a defined result, such as a certificate or an FMEA. Head of Quality as a service carries the role continuously: setting priorities, answering clients and auditors, and keeping the system alive after any project ends.
No. A Head of Quality leads the system, sets direction and is accountable – quality engineers and production implement. In a smaller company with no team yet, we can also do hands-on work where needed.
The greatest value comes in the transition from product development to production. The choices made then – suppliers, processes, controls – determine how expensive quality becomes later. That is why it pays to build quality into the product and processes at that stage.
We will talk through your product, production stage, customer expectations and current team, and set a volume that makes sense.
